Hello, I’m Diana. It’s lovely to have you here.
I was born and raised in Toraja, South Sulawesi. After finishing school in Toraja, I moved to Makassar to study English Literature at Hasanuddin University.
I create private Toraja experiences for families, couples and mature travellers who value genuine cultural experiences.
I started working as a tour guide in 1985 with Limbunan Travel, which at that time was one of the largest travel companies in South Sulawesi.
Since then, I have spent more than 40 years guiding travellers in Toraja and meeting people from many different countries, including Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and many others.
A little about my journey
When I started guiding, there was no internet.
Travellers found their way to Toraja through travel companies, letters, recommendations and word of mouth. That is how I built my work for many years.
Recently, my sister helped me create this website so I could connect with travellers who are planning to visit Toraja.
I am very happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself and my work to people who may be sitting far away and thinking about visiting Toraja.
